Hystrene® 2290 is a vegetable-sourced erucic acid with broad FDA approvals for use in indirect food contact applications.
Hystrene® 2290 is PMC Biogenix's flagship fatty acid and one of the finest available in the market. It has a vegetable-sourced erucic acid content of approximately 90% and is commercially available as a light brown flake. Hystrene® 2290 offers excellent oxidative and thermal stability benefits for use in lubricants, waxes, cosmetics, and a wide variety of chemical intermediate and reaction formulations.
