Pationic® 915
Pationic® 915 is a glycerol monostearate (GMS) with 95% monoglyceride that offers polyolefins antistatic, lubricating, and heat stabilizing benefits.
Pationic® 915 is a distilled glycerol monostearate and nonionic surfactant prepared from fully hydrogenated vegetable oils. Pationic® 915 polymer additive offers high chemical purity and a narrow particle bead size for even distribution for a more homogeneous coating layer around the polymer resin. Pationic® 915 can also act as an antistatic agent for polyolefin polymers and provide excellent effectiveness at low levels due to its high concentration of highly functional monoester. These antistatic additive properties reduce agglomeration for EPS polymers while allowing for quicker cooling times during the molding portion of manufacturing.
Pationic® 915 also works as a mold release agent in polypropylene resins and is incorporated into the compound mixture so formulators can minimize mold fouling. Furthermore, Pationic® 915 can be used as an internal lubricant in PVC and enhances the dynamic heat stability in rigid resin compounds. Pationic® 915 monoglyceride additive improves mold release function and enhances the polymer's overall appearance while being both kosher and halal certified.
