Trilene® CP-1100
Trilene® CP-1100 is a low–molecular weight ethylene propylene (EPDM) liquid copolymer additive for use in elastomers, lubricants, and greases.
Lion Elastomers Trilene® CP-1100 is an ethylene propylene liquid copolymer used as a plasticizer in rubber compounds. Unlike Trilene® terpolymers, Trilene® CP-1100 does not cross-link with the resin but still offers the benefit of a nonblooming plasticizer without degrading the mechanical properties of the compound. Trilene® CP-1100 liquid copolymer is less viscous than the terpolymers and can be used in applications that require FDA approval.
Trilene® CP-1100 liquid copolymer can also be used in lubricants and greases as a thickener, providing good shear properties and low-temperature flexibility. Trilene® is a viscous, very sticky liquid similar to conventional viscosity improvers that provides the same level of shear coating protection from start to finish.
