LOCTITE® 515™
LOCTITE® 515™ is a medium-strength gasketing solution that provides excellent performance and contamination tolerance for your application needs. This anaerobic material cures in the absence of air, allowing it to be used between close-fitting metal surfaces. It replaces conventional pre-cut gaskets and provides a flexible and long-lasting seal with excellent temperature and chemical resistance, easy application, and rapid curing.
LOCTITE® 515™ is a versatile, medium-strength acrylic gasketing solution specially designed for its reliable sealing performance and superior physical properties. It creates durable and leak-free seals between metal surfaces and serves as an excellent alternative to traditional pre-cut gaskets. By eliminating the need for pre-cut gaskets, LOCTITE® 515™ streamlines the sealing process, saving time and material costs.
With its high-temperature resistance, LOCTITE® 515™ can withstand extreme thermal cycling and exposure to elevated temperatures ranging from -65°F to 300°F. It also provides resistance to low pressures immediately after the assembly of flanges. It is recommended for use as a form-in-place product for pumps, thermostats, compressors, transmission housings, and axle covers. It is also ideal for machined metal components.
