MOLYKOTE® 7 Release Compound
MOLYKOTE® 7 Release Compound is a food-safe, NLGI Grade 1 silicone-based greaselike lubricant for long-term protection and lubrication in a broad range of applications.
MOLYKOTE® 7 Release Compound is a multipurpose dimethyl silicone compound that delivers lubrication and protection to a wide range of applications. MOLYKOTE® 7 is practically nonvolatile, exhibits excellent moisture resistance, and provides electrical insulation in an easy-to-use greaselike lubricant.
MOLYKOTE® 7 is composed of an inert amorphous silica filler with select polydimethyl silicone fluids for robust thermal stability in environments between −40°C and 204°C (−40°F to 400°F).
MOLYKOTE® 7 Silicone Release Compound is also qualified for food contact (21 CFR 175.300), food processing equipment (NSF 51), and potable water (NSF 61).
