PARALOID™ K-445
PARALOID™ K-445 is an acrylic process aid that offers high-efficiency production of cellular vinyl sheets with improved dosage efficiency.
PARALOID™ K-445 is a free-flowing acrylic process aid designed to improve the fusion, flow, strength, and surface appearance of rigid or flexible vinyl. PARALOID™ K-445 molecular structure offers uniform expansion for rigid PVC sheet dies. As a processing aid, this enables the possibility of lower density and improved efficiency by using less material while achieving target density. When increasing extrusion rates, this processing aid offers no immediate change in torque with a slight increase in melt pressure and thrust. This ensures the consistent performance of the extruded thermoplastic PVC as out-put will be maximized.
