ADCOTE™ 522
ADCOTE™ 522 is a resin component of a solvent-based, two-component laminating adhesive. It is used to create laminates for food packaging.
ADCOTE™ 522 is the isocyanate-terminated polyester urethane resin component of a two-part laminating adhesive. It is moisture cured with ADCOTE™ 522B or ADCOTE™ 532B when higher metal bonds and a faster cure rate are required. As the adhesive cures, it forms strong green bonds, making it useful in applications where strong initial bonds are necessary. The cured ADCOTE™ 522 adhesive displays excellent adhesion to high-slip films and fast bond development, leading to faster slitting times.
ADCOTE™ 522 carries indirect food contact approvals that make it suitable for creating laminates for coffee, condiment, snack, frozen food, and meat and cheese packaging. ADCOTE™ 522 forms strong bonds with typical substrates, including PE, PP, PET, PVC, nylon, and foil.
