ADCOTE™ 313
ADCOTE™ 313 is a water-based, polyethyleneimine (PEI) primer that is used to improve adhesion of paper and polyethylene in extrusion coating operations.
ADCOTE™ 313 is a polyethyleneimine primer that is designed to be used in the extrusion coating of cellulosic material, primarily paper. ADCOTE 313 reduces bond variations that occur due to changes in paper surfaces and allows for improved adhesion between paper and polyethylene extrudates. ADCOTE™ 313 will improve adhesion even with coating weights as low as 3-5 lbs per ream of polyethylene. In addition, ADCOTE™ 313 is approved for direct and indirect food contact and is often used in the manufacture of films used in flexible packaging for food.
