ADCOTE™ 122HV
ADCOTE™ 122HV is one component of a solvent-based, two-component polyester adhesive used to bond films and fabrics in flexible packaging and industrial applications.
ADCOTE™ 122HV is one component of a two-component polyester laminating adhesive. ADCOTE™ 122HV is paired with COREACTANT F to develop high bond strength and excellent resistance to heat and chemicals. Alternatively, ADCOTE™ 122HV may be paired with COREACTANT 9H1H to maximize resistance to yellowing upon exposure to ultraviolet light.
The ADCOTE™ 122HV adhesive system is recommended to be applied at 42% solids using gravure, reverse roll, or smooth roll transfer to target a coating weight of 3.2–4.8 g/sqm. ADCOTE™ 122HV excels at bonding films to fabric and is typically recommended for manufacturing sails, protective clothing, and other coverings. ADCOTE™ 122HV can also be used to laminate combinations of polyester, metallized polyester, polyethylene, polypropylene, nylon, polyvinyl chloride, aluminum foil, and paper. In addition to its use in industrial applications, ADCOTE™ 122HV is approved for indirect food contact under 21 CFR 175.105 and can be used as an adhesive for manufacturing laminates used in flexible packaging.
