Krytox™ XP 1A6 Oil
Krytox™ XP 1A6 Oil is an ISO Grade 220, PFPE-based synthetic oil with soluble anticorrosion and extreme-pressure additives (−36°C to 182°C).
Krytox™ XP 1A6 is a synthetic oil with a perfluoropolyether (PFPE) base with patented soluble additives for anti-rust, anti-wear, and extreme pressures. Krytox™ XP 1A6 is an ISO Grade 220 PFPE base oil and can operate at temperatures as low as −36°C and as high as 182°C (−33°F to 360°F).
This PFPE lubricant exhibits premium performance in incredibly high load conditions and prevents metal-on-metal contact and reduced wear. With no solid additives, this Krytox™ lubricant will have bearings running quieter. The performance additives found in Krytox™ XP 1A6 are proprietary and oil solubilized, meaning the additives will not wash away over time. Additionally, the corrosion protection from the additives will reduce rusting, allow longer operating life, and provide protection even under heavy loads.

Applications
While Krytox™ oils are inert and nonreactive to all elastomers, plastics, and metals, the soluble additives in Krytox™ XP lubricant products have not been tested with all materials. The performance degradation for XP lubricants can be seen at high temperatures over a prolonged period.
