Krytox™ XP 1A5 Oil
Krytox™ XP 1A5 Oil is an NSF H1, ISO Grade 150, PFPE-based synthetic oil with soluble anticorrosion and extreme pressure additives (−36°C to 182°C).
Krytox™ XP 1A5 is a synthetic perfluoropolyether (PFPE) based oil with patented soluble performance additives for anti-rust, anti-wear, and extreme pressure. Krytox™ XP 1A5 is an ISO Grade 150 base oil and has an estimated useful temperature range of −36°C to 182°C (−33°F to 360°F). Krytox™ XP 1A5 is certified NSF H1 food safe.
Krytox™ XP 1A5 exhibits premium performance in incredibly high load conditions and prevents metal-on-metal contact and reduced wear. It will keep bearings running quieter and wearing less. With less wear, the bearing and component operating life will increase. The anticorrosion protection of the additives will also reduce rust and allow longer grease and lubricant life. Krytox™ XP 1A5 has soluble additives that are proprietary and oil solubilized, meaning the additives will not wash away over time.

Applications
While Krytox™ XP 1A5 Oils are inert and nonreactive to all elastomers, plastics, and metals, the soluble additives in Krytox™ lubricant XP products have not been tested with all materials. The additive has not been tested at all temperatures either. The performance of the lubricant may degrade at higher temperatures over a long period.
