Fluoroguard™ polymer additives act as an ingredient lubricant that migrates to the surface to reduce wear and abrasion, and improves polymer throughput and flow properties. Based on a fluorinated synthetic oil and improve mechanical performance, they are colorless, odorless, chemically inert, and available in three distinct formulations. They can be compounded and used in a variety of molded parts made from thermoplastic or thermosetting polymers. Specifically, they can improve performance in applications such as polymer gears and bushings, rubber O-rings and seals, polymer films, snowboards, shoe soles and cleats, automotive weatherstripping, and processing aids.
