Potassium sorbate is an effective preservative against the growth of mold, yeast, and many bacteria that are known to cause spoilage. Its optimum solubility, small volume requirements, and well-studied efficacy across a wide range of pH conditions make it an ideal preservative for aqueous-based fertilizers, pesticides, and adjuvants.
Nutrinova® Potassium Sorbate BFX Granules is the only potassium sorbate currently available on the market compliant with the U.S. EPA conditions for a minimum-risk pesticide (40 CFR 152.25(f)), therefore, is exempt from registration under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA).
