Traditionally Quinidine Sulfate Dihydrate is used as an antiarrhythmic drug. In combination with Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide it is also used In the treatment of the Pseudobulbar Affect (PBA) to increase the systemic bioavailability of the second API Dextromethorphan.
Quinidine Sulfate Dihydrate is obtained from Cinchona tree bark and produced in accordance with the current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). It's used as an active pharmaceutical ingredient (API).
