Rilprim® 104 B RC7
Rilprim® 104 BRC7 is a solvent-based resin dilutant meant to be mixed in a 1:1 volume ratio with Rilprim® LES201 as part of a two-component primer system.
Rilprim® 104 BRC7 is a high-performance resin dilutant formulated as part of a solvent-based, two-component primer system compatible with Rilsan® Fine Powders. It is designed to be mixed with Rilprim® LES201 resin in a 1:1 volume ratio. This primer undercoat is applied in a 5 to 8 μm dry film thin coat via traditional or electrostatic spray techniques and is cured during the melting phase of Rilsan® ES or ESY powders. Upon application, it provides excellent adhesion, superior anticorrosion protection, and extends the lifetime of the coating. It has been shown to provide no loss of adhesion and no corrosion creep after 2000 h exposure to a salt spray or 2000 h in boiling water. Rilprim® 104 BRC7/Rilprim® LES201 primer system is recommended for demanding applications on steel but is not recommended on non-ferrous substrates.
Rilprim® 104 BRC7 is designed to be applied via traditional or antistatic spray techniques and provides excellent anti-corrosion protection in a variety of demanding steel applications.
