SoyClear® 1500
SoyClear® 1500 is a double-distilled, high-purity soy methyl ester solvent designed for low-VOC formulations and when a high flash point is required. It is typically used in hand cleaners, candles, and other colorless, high-purity applications.
SoyClear® 1500 is a fully bio-based soy methyl ester solvent derived from 100% natural whole soybean oil. This grade is double distilled, colorless, and odorless. It is an effective industrial solvent when used alone but is also highly compatible with other commonly used solvents.
Due to its low VOCs (as tested by EPA method number 24), SoyClear® 1500 is ideal for use in low-VOC formulations. It can replace d-limonene in most applications and is highly compatible with many other solvents in formulations containing d-limonene, NMP, mineral spirits, and alcohols, with no harsh or strong odor.
Derived from soy, SoyClear® 1500 is nontoxic and biodegradable, making it an eco-friendly solution for the environmental challenges of today's solvent users.
