HiTEC® 559 is an ashless rust protection additive for use in formulating marine and industrial lubricants. HiTEC® 559 also provides robust corrosion prevention in formulating greases. HiTEC® 559 delivers excellent performance and improves system cleanliness — reducing required maintenance intervals and cost.

HiTEC® 559 can be used at a range of treat rates and can vary depending on desired final performance and base stock type. A recommended treat rate falls between 0.03% and 0.5% wt.
