Sucrose Acetate Isobutyrate (SAIB)
& Cellulose Acetate Butyrate (CAB)
They work together perfectly to help you reach your formulation goals. SAIB is an effective thickening agent and plasticizer, while CAB works as an excellent film former, creating a smooth and continuous coating. Together, they improve shine and strengthen nails for a better polish experience.
LACQUER
The low solution viscosity of Eastman SAIB allows excellent flow-out on nail surfaces. With proper formulation, they provide a combination of good flexibility and film hardness. The inclusion of 10 to 20% SAIB (based on total solids) in fluid coatings has resulted in improvements in glass and adhesion.
TOP COAT
With the perfect combination of CAB and SAIB, your top coat will have a smoother application (even over a wet later), a glossier finish, and improved hardness for a longer lasting, more beautiful manicure.
GEL POLISH
CAB and SAIB create a fast drying solution that helps prevent marring. Together, they help create shine, prevent dullness, and provide light resistance for a long lasting gel polish.
