Pationic® 901RF is a bio-based polymer additive derived from hydrogenated vegetable oil and is specifically formulated as a pastille for heat stability purposes. Pationic® Glycerol Monostearate polymer additives create various performance benefits to plastics like excellent corrosion resistance. 
Pationic® 901RF consists of polymer food-grade agents that offer high-performance solutions. As a glycerol monostearate (GMS) agent, Pationic® 901RF offers processing solutions from anti-fogging, flow modifying, and dispersion.

Pationic® 901RF from Corbion provides an additional set of safe processing attributes beyond the usual performance you would expect from 901K. The pastille form reduces waste and eases handling. Additionally, the non-powder form gives an additional layer of safer handling due to low dusting. 

 

Pationic® 901RF may also be used as an anti-fogging agent, which can be mixed directly into the material during the extrusion process. In addition, Pationic® 901RF has excellent lubricating properties making them ideal flow modifiers that can be used during the manufacturing process. The plastics processing involves high friction, which leads to varying inconsistencies in the molds. Plastics require high thermal temperature, which may cause issues like scratching, poor surface finishes, and even machinery breakdown. The pastille form of Pationic® 901RF provides excellent mold release properties that allow for reduced friction and improved quality.
