TEXTURECEL™ 50000 PA 07 is a high purity carboxymethyl cellulose powder. It is an excellent binder for ceramics and thickener for coatings and adhesives.
TEXTURECEL™ 50000 PA 07 is a high molecular weight sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) with a lower degree of substitution than standard TEXTURECEL™ grades. It is well suited as a thickener and binder in water-based formulations. TEXTURECEL™ 50000 PA 07 is used in ceramic slurries to improve green strength of extruded ceramic parts. it has a thixotropic nature that also reduces friction and extrusion pressure. The high purity of TEXTURECEL™ 50000 PA 07 makes it an excellent binder for anodes used in lithium ion batteries. In this application it optimizes the dispersion of conductive material, increases mechanical integrity, and improves adhesion to current collectors.
