jER™ YX8800 is an anthracene-type epoxy resin that exhibits excellent flame retardancy, high thermostability, good abrasion, heat and water resistance, and electrical insulation, making it appropriate for electrical and electronic applications, carbon fiber–reinforced polymers (CFRP), and other applications.

jER™ YX8800 is an anthracene-type epoxy resin formed from the reaction of epichlorohydrin and 1,4-dihydro-9,10-anthracenediol. It has a significantly low melt viscosity, high Tg, and low CTE, making it appropriate for electrical and electronic applications, carbon fiber–reinforced polymers (CFRP), and other applications that require flame retardancy. It exhibits high thermostability, excellent abrasion, heat and water resistance, and electrical insulation.
