Hexion Performance Adhesives are available in a wide variety of grades, and include catalysts and modifiers. Brands include Cascophen®, Perkins®, Wonderbond®, Cascomel®, Cascomelt®, and Cascorez®.
Hexion Performance Adhesives can be altered to fit many niche applications with varying levels of water and heat resistance, pot life, assembly time, cure time, strength, and ease of use. Adhesive applications include finger jointed studs and molding, millwork, face laminating, veneer overlay, vinyl laminating, paper laminating, edge and face gluing, radio frequency cure, hardwood plywood, and flooring.

Hexion UF Performance Adhesives

Hexion UF Performance Adhesives are urea formaldehyde interior type II glues that require a separate hardener. They are low cost, fast setting with heat, and have a long assembly time which can be adjusted by altering the resin to catalyst ratio. These adhesives are a two-part product system consisting of resins and catalysts.
UF resin brands include Cascamite®, Casco-Resin®, and Perkins® with the corresponding catalyst brands being Cascoset®, H-Series®, Perkins®, and Seaco®. The urea formaldehyde product line is for use on interior hardwood plywood, flooring, and curved plywood.
Hexion has the largest urea formaldehyde portfolio in the world today.

Hexion PVAc Performance Adhesives are offered in either a single or two-part system and are an environmentally friendly alternative to formaldehyde-based products.
The XB series is a Type I bond that is boil and heat resistant, has the Hallmark Certification and is commonly used on curved and hardwood plywood. It can be used in hot presses, radio frequency curing machines, or cold presses. The IB series is a single-component emulsion which is designed for easy use, approved for interior applications, and suitable for general assembly applications.
